2016 is over. After a long and exciting year filled with uncertainty and challenges we decided -once again- to do something that we are good at: spoil our friends and clients with a small New Year’s giveaway.
Nevertheless, we knew this year required something different; Something that could protest against all odds and give us a little confidence for what is about to come: a notion of fortune -in this case- through a deck of tarot cards.
The idea came after a deep appreciation of nocturnal trends around the globe and the intention to be simple and interactive with the user; we wanted to illustrate the illusion of fate into something tangible, mystical and playful.
How could we adapt the idea in order to have a deep sense with the world of design and strategic communication?
Of course, we took care of the outcome. With the collaboration of Alex Ghoulmez – Visual Artist- we created this unique deck of cards with a simultaneously magical and comical meaning, having all the well-known characters within the industry involved and related to the original tarot interpretations.
The future is now. Each card represents two possible results. A game for the skeptical and the believers. No barriers inside a little black box replete with suspense, hope and expectation.
We are here for whatever is coming next. So, we want our clients and friend to be.

SHUFFLING SOMETHING MYSTICAL: ABOUT THE CARDS
It’s not a coincidence if it’s meant to be.
We created 22 cards with 44 possible outcomes. A world full of possibilities where you are able to plan ahead or maybe, change the direction you are taking.
With an exquisite work of illustration we related each card’s meaning with a parallel in the world of agencies, making sure that the message was useful but also enjoyable and amusing to read. Each object and character reflects a day-today situation seen from different perspectives, for example:
1. The Force (Product Manager)
According to tarot: power, energy, action.
The Product Manager is a well-known as the team’s leader. It’s the individual giving guidance to successfully complete a task. Enthusiast, proactive and always looking to find the better solutions to make all the collaborators work together to achieve the optimal results.
At the end it’s all about perception. All the images have an insightful meaning, taking care of all the small details involved in the scene and of course, the tale it’s intending to communicate.
Life is a game, let’s make sure we are playing it the right way.

INSTANT MEMORIES: ABOUT THE GIFS
A little movement is always a good and marvelous idea.
We created three different GIFs to develop a teasing campaign for our clients. With the special collaboration of Denisse García -photographer- we shot these snaps of esotericism and magic. As a result, we obtained a perfect sequence to explain the stages of our plan:
-The first GIF generated uncertainty and curiosity, playing with tarot-related elements and props that could involve the receiver in the right atmosphere.
-The second GIF acted as an announcement, telling our clients directly that an special delivery was waiting in front of their door.
-The third GIF provoked a call-to-action, giving the perfect excuse for our clients to make the right call to shape their future; in this case, working with us.
It’s not about telling a story. It’s about the way you tell it.
